Company Spotlight

Spotlight on Designing for Disassembly
King CountyWhether you are designing a home or building a home, you are likely assuming that the building will be standing there for, well, a long time. But have you put much thought into exactly how long that home will be around or how the structure will come apart when the need arises?

If you’re looking to design and build a home that will meet the needs of its initial residents, as well as serve the needs of others for decades to come, then you should check out the Design for Disassembly Guide. This guide is an introduction to the principles, methods and materials of Design for Disassembly in the built environment. It is intended for owners, architects, designers and builders who are looking to incorporate adaptability and longevity into their projects. This information was provided by King County GreenTools.
