User-Friendly Resources for Advanced Building Technologies
Raters, builders and contractors know that a proper thermal boundary and HVAC and ventilation strategies are critical to the overall performance of a home. Of course, the devil is in the details. That's why we're sharing this series of technical resources to help address recent market challenges with advanced building technologies. These tools were created to help Northwest Energy Star's partners understand design considerations for efficient walls and air-sealing techniques, efficient heating and cooling system solutions, and whole-home ventilation strategies. To learn more, check out HRV System Best Practices for the Northwest, Mini-Split Technology in New Construction and Thermal Enclosure: Efficient Walls and Airtightness.
