The 2026 Built Green Awards

Last week in Seattle, leaders in the green building industry gathered at the 2026 Built Green Awards to celebrate builders, people, and projects bringing the field to new heights. The event was made possible thanks to support from sponsors BECU and Greenhome.

Attendees enjoyed drinks and networking to kick off the evening, then were treated to a presentation from Veena Prasad, Program Director for Spark Northwest and Andri Kofmehl, VP of Finance at Skyven Technologies. Veena and Andri are also the longtime owners of the second ever Built Green Emerald Star certified home, which they worked with Legend Homes to design, complete with a number of sustainable features and systems — rainwater is used for all household water needs nine months out of the year! Veena and Andri gave an insightful presentation about their experience living in this innovative home for the past nine years.Throughout the evening, Built Green Award winners were announced, honoring the companies and leaders raising the bar when it comes to building green homes.
